What's going on...

Sorry it's been forever since my last update. Let me inform you on what's new in my life. First off a big difference is that we have moved AGAIN! Thank goodness it's our last move for at least 2 years! We moved to Sao Luis Maranhao. It's a great place! :D I've really enjoyed it! We have a beach within hearing and seeing distance from our apartment! Here's a picture of the view off our balcony that I recently took while the tide was out.

When I get finished with my school work early I go down and walk on the beach! We get really great breezes up on the tenth floor of our apartment. It so nice that sometimes we get the chills from it because our bodies aren't used to that kind of temperature.

School has been going really well. I really enjoy the schooling system I am using, NorthStar Academy. I'm co-leading a Romans Bible Study with another student. We have thirteen other students from NorthStar who have joined it! It's going really great so far! Please pray that God gives my co-leader and I the words to say. The schoolwork itself has been very easy so far and I've been doing very well. NorthStar has been very good for me because I have been able to
make some very awesome friends on there!

For Thanksgiving we will be going to an American family's house here in Sao Luis and we will have lunch with them and hang out for the day at their house! We are also extremely excited about Christmas because some of our family members have bought all five of us plane tickets to come to the states! It will only be for a month though. We haven't seen most of our friends and family for almost two years! So you can imagine how excited we are. We're counting down the days! :) Please pray that we will be able to return home to Brazil with as few tears shed as possible.

Here's some more recent pictures:

These are some shells I found on the beach that had hermit crabs living in them. They were the size of my hand.

Here's an awesome picture of the sunset I took.

Thanks for reading and by the way I will probably have another post by march or late January.

Fortaleza

Sorry it's been such a long time since I last posted. A lot of things have changed since the last post. We have moved to a city in the northeast called Fortaleza. The best part is that it's right on the beach!

We had decided to get a dog and we did. We had a blast with him. With having an apartment and not having an area for him to run around in, he was going pretty crazy when we had to leave him alone. We decided that we were going to have to give him to somebody who had more space and fewer neighbors. We did find someone and so we don't have a dog anymore. :(

My brothers and I have joined a fitness club where Jayden is taking karate. Jackson and I are both playing basketball. I'm really enjoying it and it's giving me a great opportunity to share with others why we moved to Brazil and about our wonderful Creator.

The next couple of months are going to be awesome. In July, we are going to fly down to Sao Paulo and go to a mission meeting a couple of hours away in a city called Atibaia. (For my parents it's a mission meeting but for me it's going to be a type of camp for teens!) That will be great to be able to see some good friends once again! After a week, the meeting will be over and then we will go from the meeting/camp to visit with some good friends who live in Sao Jose and Jacarei. We will also get to visit with folks from CPC (Our church we used to attend in the USA) again! It will be a very fun month!

School has been a little difficult recently but I'm still surviving. =-) I have been using this really cool online schooling system! It's called NorthStar Academy. You can chat and make many friends just like a normal school. I do my homework and then scan it and send it in to my teacher who then grades and sends it back to me! I honestly really enjoy it... and it's making school a lot more fun. With us living on the coast we visit the beach a lot also! It's amazing how nice it can be to live on the beach! With it being the beginning of the dry season we have been having some very nice days. My dad and I have been searching for a place to fish for a while and we think we have finally found the perfect spot behind the school he teaches at in the Quilombola! Pretty ironic! They even say that there is peacock bass in the lake that we will go try out. If there is and we catch one I'll post photos on Facebook. Well that pretty much sums it all up.
